Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has once again stirred intense controversy after making shocking allegations against popular clergyman Pastor Chris Okafor, claiming that disturbing secrets are hidden beneath his church altar.
The actress made the claims during a recent appearance on the “KAA Truths” podcast, a short clip of which has since gone viral across social media platforms, triggering widespread reactions and heated debates.
In the circulating video, Ogala called on Nigeria’s security agencies to intervene, specifically urging the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate what she described as alarming happenings linked to the church.
“DSS, they should go and open that altar. Open his altar. I won’t say further than that,” Ogala said.
She went further to allege that there was a fatal incident during the construction of the church building, painting a grim picture of events she claimed occurred at the site.
“When they were building that place, that place collapsed. Somebody died too,” she alleged.
Ogala also hinted at an incident involving a blogger who, according to her, allegedly stumbled on something suspicious during the chaos surrounding the reported collapse.
“Apart from somebody died, there’s a blogger that found something on the ground. This man called me, he was begging. He said, ‘What do I give this blogger to close his mouth?’” she claimed.
Doubling down on her demands, the actress reiterated her call for a physical probe of the church structure.
“The DSS should go and open that altar, that pulpit that he used to stand on. They should dig it up and open it,” she added.
Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Liberation City Worldwide, is widely known for his fiery sermons and large congregation. As of the time of filing this report, neither the pastor nor the church has responded publicly to the allegations.
The fresh claims come amid an ongoing public fallout between Ogala and the clergyman, which intensified following reports of Pastor Okafor’s recent wedding. Since then, the actress has made several allegations against him across interviews and social media, all of which remain unverified.
The situation has sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians calling for investigations, while others urge caution, stressing the need for due process and warning against trial by social media.
