Wizkid and Davido of Fuji — Fans React as Pasuma, Saheed Osupa Share Emotional Moment at Fuji Legend’s 15th Remembrance

Two of Nigeria’s most respected Fuji music icons, Pasuma Wonder and Saheed Osupa, have once again reminded fans that brotherhood can outlive rivalry, after a heart-melting video of them surfaced online.

The Fuji legends were spotted together at the 15th remembrance of the late Fuji pioneer, Alhaji Chief Dr Sikiru Ololade Ayinde Balogun (Barrister), an event that drew major figures from the Yoruba entertainment and cultural space.

In the now-viral clip, Pasuma and Saheed Osupa, both dressed in white, were seen meeting at the entrance of the venue. They held hands warmly and walked in together, a simple gesture that spoke volumes. Moments later, the duo were captured sitting side by side, laughing, talking, and sharing several affectionate exchanges that quickly melted hearts online.

Saheed Osupa later shared the video on his Instagram page, paying tribute to the Fuji legend who laid the foundation for their careers.

“Earlier today, at the 15th-year remembrance of Fuji creator, the late Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. Rest on, Baami Agbajelola Barusati,” he wrote, tagging @officialpasuma.

The clip triggered an outpouring of emotional reactions from fans, colleagues, and Yoruba culture lovers, many of whom described the moment as healing and symbolic.

Actress Biola Bayo wrote, “I was smiling like I won a jackpot.”

Biodun Thomas added, “The thing wey remain for ground is sufficient for everyone.” One user, @thecelebrity_hypeman1, perfectly summed up the moment, calling them: “Wizkid and Davido of Fuji.”

Others couldn’t hide their joy. “I’m so happy to see this video,” wrote @iamtrinityguy. “See me smiling like mumu here,” @victoriousliongram commented.

The emotional moment holds deeper meaning, especially for long-time Fuji fans. In 2023, Pasuma and Saheed Osupa officially reconciled after years of rivalry, following the death of Pasuma’s mother.

At the time, Saheed Osupa shared a touching video of himself consoling Pasuma, a move that marked the beginning of their renewed bond.

Their reconciliation was further strengthened when KSA (King Sunny Ade) visited Pasuma at his Omole residence, a meeting Saheed later described as time spent with “my old friend, brother, and colleague.”

Since then, both artistes have openly celebrated each other. Pasuma once described Saheed Osupa as “the King”, showering him with prayers on his birthday, while Saheed returned the love with a heartfelt note, calling Pasuma “not just a Fuji artiste, but a significant one.”

For many fans, this latest appearance isn’t just a sweet video; it is proof that peace, respect, and legacy matter more than rivalry, especially in a genre built on heritage and storytelling.
