Nigerian clergyman and founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, has officially tied the knot, despite days of intense online drama and public threats from Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.
Photos from the private wedding ceremony surfaced online, confirming that the pastor went ahead with the marriage, even as social media buzzed with allegations, emotional outbursts, and vows of disruption from the actress.
The wedding comes amid a highly publicised fallout between Pastor Okafor and Doris Ogala, who had, in a series of Instagram posts, accused the clergyman of breaking promises to marry her after a relationship she said dated back to 2017.
When reports of the pastor’s impending wedding first hit the internet, Ogala reacted emotionally, alleging betrayal and claiming the clergyman had abandoned her after years of involvement.
She further alleged that her mental health deteriorated following the breakup, worsened by the tragic loss of her younger brother.
In her posts, Ogala accused Pastor Okafor of financial exploitation, claiming she funded several projects for him and his associates without repayment. She also made grave allegations that the clergyman shared explicit videos of her without consent, including footage connected to a miscarriage she claimed to have suffered during their relationship.
The actress also alleged that Okafor pressured her to leave her former marriage and vowed that she would not allow his new wedding to go on peacefully.
At one point, she declared publicly that she would “scatter the wedding”, insisting that the pastor must be confronted over what she described as emotional and financial damage.
Despite these threats, the wedding ceremony reportedly went on without disruption.
Shortly after the ceremony, photos from the wedding began circulating online, showing Pastor Okafor with his bride in a quiet, private setting. The emergence of the images confirmed that the clergyman had proceeded with the marriage, bringing the online tension to a dramatic turning point.
