Afrobeats superstar Davido has reacted playfully to a viral video showing a man allegedly walking past him inside an elevator without a second glance.
The moment surfaced while the singer was in Abuja for his 5ive Alive Tour concert at Eagle Square, and it quickly set social media on fire.
In the short clip that first circulated online, the unidentified man appeared completely unbothered as he walked past Davido in an elevator, triggering mixed reactions and loud conversations about “aura,” clout, and celebrity presence.
However, as fans dug deeper, unedited footage soon emerged, offering clearer context.
According to the full video, Davido’s team had politely asked the men in the elevator to step out first to create space for the singer. After that, the elevator ride continued, making it clear that the viral clip had been edited and merged to suggest the man intentionally snubbed the superstar.
Once the truth came out, the narrative flipped and the internet turned the moment into comedy. Reacting to the drama, Davido kept things light and humorous.

The line instantly went viral, with fans interpreting it as Davido subtly calling out the clout-chasing edit, without taking the situation too seriously.
