Nollywood actress and digital content creator Onwuson Faith Ifeoma, popularly known as Honeypot, has stirred intense reactions online after opening up about her views on sex, intimacy, and relationships.
The outspoken social media personality made the revelation while appearing on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where she spoke candidly about cultural expectations, affection, and why sexual performance is not a major priority for her.
Addressing common beliefs within Igbo culture, Honeypot explained that a man’s true financial standing is often reflected in how well his wife is taken care of, not in his outward appearance.
“In Igbo land, you can see a man walking around in shorts, but if you want to know if he is rich, look at his wife. That’s not stupidity,” she said. “A man’s money should reflect on the woman. It shows the man is doing well. The fact that she has a job or work doesn’t mean she is not supposed to be taken care of.”
Beyond finances, Honeypot shifted the conversation to intimacy, insisting that love and affection go far beyond sexual intercourse.
“There is kissing, there is cuddling and there is biting. You bite everywhere. Biting is a form of affection,” she added.
When presented with a choice between a wealthy man with a protruding belly who lacks bedroom skills and a physically fit man with strong sexual performance, Honeypot was firm about where she stands.
“I am not a sex person,” she declared. “I can stay months, with my full chest.”
She also addressed persistent assumptions about her lifestyle, stressing that she does not engage in hookups despite the sexual nature of some of her online content.
“That is why when I come out and say don’t come into my DM, I don’t do hookups,” she said. “I can say it with my full chest because nobody can come out and say I have paid you for sex.”
Then came the statement that sent shockwaves across social media:
“One minute of sex is enough for me. When you are done, come down from my body.”
Honeypot’s blunt honesty has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising her confidence and self-awareness, while others questioned her unconventional stance on intimacy.
