You Need Help More Than 2Baba — Daddy Freeze Blasts Jesse Jagz After His Viral Insult

Media personality Daddy Freeze has finally responded to rapper Jesse Jagz after the musician publicly insulted him on X (Twitter), sparking one of the most unexpected celebrity clashes of the month.

Earlier, Jesse Jagz shocked fans when he tweeted directly at the broadcaster:

“Good morning Sir @DaddyFRZ Without Due Respect, YOUR PAPA NYASH!”

The tweet immediately went viral, drawing confusion, laughter, and concern across social media. But Daddy Freeze, never one to ignore drama, has now shared his own side of what led to the outburst and his explanation paints a much deeper picture.

In a new video, Daddy Freeze said he woke up to the insult and decided to speak because the situation was “not normal.”

“I woke up this morning to an insultive tweet from Jesse Jagz,” he said. “Let me share my own side of the story. Jesse Jagz entered my DM begging me to come to my live. I gave him my WhatsApp number, see him calling me back to back… he even dropped voice notes.”

Daddy Freeze then played one of the voice notes Jesse Jagz allegedly sent, where the rapper could be heard passionately referencing the ongoing 2Baba vs Natasha saga.

In the voice note, Jesse Jagz said:

“Daddy Freeze, tomorrow, I’m bringing some Idoma people there. If we let 2face to die like this, God will punish all Nigerian artists. E go punish all of us. I just finished speaking with Faze. I wan call Blackface… if we allow Innocent Idibia…”

Freeze also displayed screenshots of Jesse Jagz’s repeated WhatsApp calls, as well as messages from the rapper’s management asking for the exact time of the live session; proof, he said, that Jagz was the one who pushed to appear on his platform.

After finally joining the Instagram Live, Freeze described the rapper’s behaviour as worrying.

“He finally comes on my live and he’s delirious,” Freeze said. “How is it my fault that you’re not cognitive? I’m genuinely worried about some of our legends. Many of our legends don turn small stouts, many don turn cold zero.”

He stressed that Jagz came with the promise of sharing insight, not chaos.

“You made a request that you wanted to come on my live and I gave you the privilege, so you could offer wisdom on the topic. Instead, you left my viewers traumatized.”

Then came his strongest line, the one already dominating social media:

“Jesse Jagz, jokes apart, you need help. You need help even more than the 2Baba. And I pray you get it before it’s too late.”

The clash has now split fans between those expressing concern for Jesse Jagz’s wellbeing and those accusing Daddy Freeze of escalating the situation.
