Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz caused a stir last night after unexpectedly joining Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live to lash out at the media personality and Nigerians who have been discussing 2Baba Idibia’s alleged marital crisis.
This comes after a viral interview on Monday, December 1, in which 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, made damning claims about the singer’s marriage to Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. In the interview with Daddy Freeze, Kaka alleged that Natasha is “severely abusive” towards 2Baba, claiming the music legend feels like a “house husband” in the relationship. He further alleged drug use, financial control issues, and insisted that the couple “need rehab and therapy.”
The revelations sparked outrage online, with many calling for 2Baba to be “rescued.”
However, on Wednesday, December 3, 2Baba appealed to Nigerians to “cease fire,” warning that the hate directed at Natasha was dangerous and could put her in harm’s way.
But the conversation heated up again when Jesse Jagz jumped into Daddy Freeze’s Live session, visibly agitated and smoking as he spoke. He fiercely defended 2Baba and slammed those dragging the singer’s marriage online.
Jesse Jagz declared:
“I am physically heading from Jos to Abuja tomorrow morning. I am physically going to remove 2Baba make him go drink beer. Make him smoke Igbo.”
He added emphatically:
“Without 2Face, nobody go know people like us.”
His appearance and demeanor immediately raised concerns, as many viewers noted that he sounded and looked like someone under the influence.
Following the session, Daddy Freeze issued a stern warning to his followers:
“Stay safe guys. Avoid drugs and all forms of mind-altering substances. I’m truly worried about this generation.”
The drama adds yet another layer to the unfolding controversy surrounding 2Baba, Natasha, and the barrage of public scrutiny their marriage has attracted over the past week.
