You Betrayed Us — Nigerians React As GehGeh Shares New Romantic Pics Despite Anti-Love Teachings

Popular social media personality and self-proclaimed financial expert, GehGeh, has stirred major conversation online after sharing romantic photos and a cosy video featuring himself with a woman identified as Tracy Obahor.

The influencer, known for his tough talk on relationships and money, surprised many when he posted a carousel of moments, one showing him holding Obahor closely, and another video of the two sitting in a car while he appeared to lean in for a kiss.

In the caption of the viral video, GehGeh cheekily told Nigerians that he had finally fallen in love. He wrote:

“Nigerians make una come o, I don fall in love.”

Although Tracy Obahor is a producer and the visuals could be linked to a project, many Nigerians were not convinced. Fans immediately assumed GehGeh was revealing a new romantic chapter, and the reactions were explosive.

Followers of GehGeh, especially those who have adopted his anti-love, ‘fear women when you’re broke’ doctrine flooded the comment section with disappointment, disbelief, and humour.

Some pleaded, some mocked him, and others felt personally betrayed:

@rsu_campus_blog said, “Country dey spoil u dey fall in love.” @nornor_obi stated firmly, “Gehgeh I give you 24 hours to take down this video ☹️ I am highly disappointed in you.” @osita__micheal observed, “If you check well you go see say Geh Geh dey practice watin e dey preach. CHECK the bby hair.”

@victoradere said, “You betrayed yourself.” @bellak_comedy exclaimed in disbelief, “Ahhhhh after I left my girlfriend because of your advice mentor… am finished.”

@mujaheed__yalawa__be asked, “Na movie una dey shoot.” @spatakos noted, “You don mislead us. No be you dey shout fear women when you broke… small change enter now you don love up. No worries, we go pour you water when she breaks your heart carry all your money go.” @mc_shortman91 revealed, “I wan go beg my ex. Gehgeh na bad person.”

@uwaoma82 said, “I give you 24hrs to delete this post and render an apology to all the members and students of Geh Geh University.” @djreeves_uk8701 noted “Geh Geh, so you get girlfriend and you dey mislead us… you better practice what you preach, if not I’m giving you 48 hours to take this picture down. Attaaasssaaa.”

The reactions show just how invested his online community is in his “financial discipline over romance” philosophy; one he may now appear to be breaking.

While GehGeh has not clarified whether the photos were from a professional shoot or an actual romantic reveal, the content has already ignited debates about authenticity, influencers, and the pressure of public personas.

Some insist it’s “just content”, while others believe the influencer has finally been caught in the same trap he warns men about daily.
