Controversial street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a fiery public message to rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide, claiming the award-winning star will “regret” not signing him.
Portable’s outburst comes days after Olamide shut down the 12,500-capacity OVO Arena in London, delivering a historic performance that featured several guest artists, including Seyi Vibez and Asake.
But Portable, who was not invited on stage, took to social media to express his anger, insisting his absence was intentional and a sign that Olamide had abandoned him.
The “Zazuu” crooner went further to claim that his breakout hit contributed to Olamide’s renewed global attention.
According to him,
“Zazzu made Olamide known again internationally.”
Portable also said he believes Olamide will one day regret not signing him to YBNL or taking him under his wing.
In a series of posts laced with prayer, defiance, and warnings, the singer wrote:
“You will regret not signing me. I believe in God, my phone, and sub. Any disappointment is a blessing. Zazuu, I am blessed internationally, I get fan base.”
He further expressed gratitude to Skepta, who had collaborated with him and brought him into international spotlight.
“God bless Skepta my helper wey carry me from where them stop.”
Portable stressed that no one can stop his rise:
“When my time comes you no fit stop me. Olamide Baddo go regret why him no sign me or carry me alongside again just because I fight for my own right.”
The singer added that some people have been blocking his progress, but he remains confident in divine support.
“God of Zazuu is coming for you people too—those who dey block my ways. I believe I can fly. Star no dey beg to shine. God sent my helper to me. I international so I can be big more than them.”
He ended with a warning aimed at his critics:
“Love who love you. Support those who support you. Them fit carry you trabaye still dey hate on you because you no be mumu. If you spoil me for who love me, you go die young.”
Portable’s comments have since sparked heated conversations online, with fans divided over whether his accusations were justified or simply another episode in his long history of calling out industry figures.
