Heartfelt congratulations keep flooding in for music legend 2Baba and his wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, as the couple welcomes their first child together; a baby girl.
Speculation flooded social media on Friday evening after Natasha was spotted at a hospital, sparking rumours that she had gone into labour. Hours later, the lawmaker confirmed the joyful news on her Facebook page, revealing the gender of their newborn.
Sharing a simple but powerful message, she wrote:
“It’s a Girl.”
The announcement sent fans into a frenzy, with congratulatory messages pouring in across platforms.

Just a week ago, Natasha flaunted her growing baby bump while attending an event in Abuja to support her husband. The viral clip showed her stepping into the venue gracefully, her bump on full display.
Rumours of her pregnancy had circulated for months. During the couple’s visit to the Nasarawa Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, eagle-eyed fans spotted what appeared to be a baby bump beneath her blue outfit. In September, another clip went viral showing Natasha in front of a mirror, admiring her look as 2Baba stood beside her, sparking even more speculation.
Recall that on July 25th, 2025, 2Baba and Natasha held a low-key traditional wedding ceremony, attended only by close family members, including the music icon’s parents.
In one of the heartwarming clips from the ceremony, the couple was seen receiving parental blessings. A family elder, identified as Okagbe, said during the ceremony that 2Baba had been in “several marriages” and prayed for this one to be his last.
With the arrival of their baby girl, fans are celebrating not just a new life, but a new chapter for the couple.
