They Can Puncture Your Tyre and Beat You — Kunle Remi Mocks Peggy Ovire, Taye Arimoro in Viral Video

The ongoing drama between Nollywood stars Taye Arimoro and Peggy Ovire has taken a humorous twist after actor Kunle Remi playfully mocked both parties in a video that quickly stirred reactions across social media.

The controversy began last week when Taye Arimoro released a viral video accusing actress Peggy Ovire and her crew of allegedly assaulting him on a movie set.

According to Arimoro, Peggy instructed her driver to block his car to stop him from leaving the location. He also claimed his tyres were deflated, and he sustained injuries, including visible cuts to his gums and lips.

Peggy denied assaulting him, counter-accusing Arimoro of beating two crew members during the shoot.

However, the narrative shifted again when CCTV footage surfaced online. The video appeared to contradict Peggy’s claims, showing her removing her wig, handing her phone to someone, and preparing to physically confront Arimoro.

Following the footage, Arimoro reportedly filed a legal complaint against Peggy Ovire, demanding a public apology and ₦100 million in compensation.

Adding a comedic spin to the escalating situation, Kunle Remi posted a video on his Instagram page showing himself resting on set. Moments later, he suddenly jumped up and hurried off the location as if avoiding trouble.

He captioned the video:

“When you are tired on set, and remember they can puncture your tyre and beat you.”

His playful jab immediately caught attention, drawing reactions from fellow actors — including Taye Arimoro himself.

The comments section quickly turned into a mini comedy show as celebrities dropped their thoughts:

@EfeIrele: “Kunle abeg now.” Allwell Ademola: “Egbami.” @EtinosaIdemudia: “And I thought I was a troublemaker.” @GabrielAfolayan: “Ogborlorkor shop shop.” @TayeArimoro: “Ode.” @Kiekie: “You’re impossible. We don’t do that in Kiekie TV.”

Kunle’s video has since gone viral, adding a layer of humor to an issue that has otherwise generated serious tension within Nollywood.
