She No Like Those Girls — Chioma’s Expression Sparks Reactions During Davido Strip Club After-Party

Social media has erupted with mixed reactions after a viral video captured Afrobeats star Davido and his wife, Chioma, at a strip club during the singer’s 33rd birthday after-party.

Earlier, the Grammy nominee celebrated his birthday with an intimate Atlanta gathering attended by his wife, Chioma, close family members, and friends. Dignitaries present included Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, Sharon Adeleke, and several members of the Adeleke family.

During his birthday toast, Davido reflected on his journey, noting that he released his first song at age 17 and has now turned 33. He described 2025 as “one of the best years,” celebrating getting married to “the most beautiful woman” and welcoming their babies.

The celebration later moved to a strip club for the after-party, where Davido was seen making it rain on the exotic dancers. Chioma, who stood beside him, appeared visibly uninterested, sparking conversations online.

In the now-trending clip, the mother of two kept a straight face and looked withdrawn while Davido showered dollar bills on the performers.

Fans immediately took to social media to interpret her expression, with many suggesting she seemed uncomfortable with the setting.

One concerned fan, @abiallie, wrote: “Pøor wife looking so unhappy.” Another user, @Babieoluwa, suggested her mood needed disguising, “Chioma needs to be wearing black shades in this kind of event cause wtf.” @orah2 added, “Chhioma doesn’t seem to like the place.” Another viewer, @rhemaplace, echoed similar sentiments,
“Chioma always looks bored.”

Some commenters focused on the strip-club environment itself.
According to @wayne_ola, “You can tell his wife wasn’t thrilled with this gathering, especially the part where her husband was throwing money at strippers. A good wife wouldn’t be happy about that.” Another user, @uti_happy_c, simply asked, “Chioma is not smiling, why?”

An amused commenter, @afrikan_unikorn, wrote, “She wanna go home.” And @igwechibuikem_cars_usa added a humorous take, “See Chioma’s face, she no like those girls wey dey shake their yansh for David. Woman to jealous.”

The couple’s public display of affection in recent weeks shows no sign of strain. Just last month, Davido and Chioma celebrated their third wedding anniversary, exchanging heartfelt messages on social media. Davido called it “one out of three anniversaries,” cheering to forever with his wife, while Chioma responded with an “Amen” and reaffirmed her love.

Days earlier, Davido had shared a handwritten love note to Chioma, declaring his unwavering devotion. She reposted it proudly, referring to him as her “sweet husband.”

The couple also held their grand white wedding on August 10, 2025, in Miami, with influential personalities such as Aliko Dangote, Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana, Dbanj, Uche Jombo, and Zlatan in attendance.

During their vows, Chioma described Davido as “my love, my best friend, and the calm in my storm,” promising to walk with him forever. Davido, in turn, said Chioma “saw the real me and still chose me,” calling her his healer and a symbol of unconditional love.

While the viral video has stirred conversation, fans remain divided; some reading discomfort on Chioma’s face, others insisting she simply maintained her usual calm demeanour.
