This Is Political Propaganda — Mr Macaroni Responds to Rape Accusation After Slamming Tinubu Govt

Nigerian actor and skitmaker Mr Macaroni has slammed a severe accusation made against him on X after he called out President Bola Tinubu over the worsening insecurity in the country.

The drama started shortly after Mr Macaroni queried the President about the kidnap of schoolchildren in Kebbi State, demanding an update on government action. In his tweet, he also referenced Tinubu’s 2023 campaign promises to end insecurity and questioned why no decisive steps were being communicated to Nigerians.

He wrote another post condemning political leaders who “abandon the people” while focusing solely on elections and power, describing it as deeply troubling that schoolchildren were abducted, alongside the killing of a military General and other security agents without a direct and reassuring national address from the President.

Shortly after these posts, an X user identified as Arewa (@lukurawa16703) published a damaging claim, writing:

“This guy actually raped 17 year old girl and used police to oppress her family. Now he’s an activist?”

The allegation sparked immediate outrage, forcing Mr Macaroni to respond publicly.

The skitmaker condemned the allegation, calling it a politically motivated attack from supporters of the ruling party.

He wrote:

“Normally I shouldn’t respond to a tweet like this because I would just be giving it more visibility. But because of the nature of the horrendous and distasteful accusation, I have to. This is a Tinubu and APC supporter.”

“I am not new to their lies and attacks anytime I criticize their evil government! But this isn’t just any other attack, this is a false accusation of rape which any sane human being should never use as propaganda simply because I am holding our government accountable as every good citizen of this country should.”

Mr Macaroni went on to describe the accuser as a “deranged individual” who weaponised sensitive issues for political fights.

“If we don’t take actions against deranged individuals like this one, they will continue to infest society with their disease and project onto others who they really are.”

The actor said he reviewed the user’s profile and noticed a pattern:

“Praising the President and government, then attacking anyone who dares criticize them.”

Seeking accountability, he added:

“I would appreciate any information about this individual that can help us take necessary action against this raving lunatic.”

He ended by reaffirming his position:

“This tweet also serves as an opportunity to strongly refute this ridiculous accusation and any other kind from the infested supporters of the APC because I expect their disease to continue to spread as I won’t stop criticizing this abomination of a government!!!”

Mr Macaroni, known for his activism and constant criticism of government policies, has faced repeated online attacks. However, he described this latest accusation as the most “dangerous and irresponsible” attempt to silence him.

The skitmaker insists he will continue to speak up for Nigerians, especially on the worsening insecurity and rising number of kidnappings across the country.
