Nollywood actress and billionaire wife, Regina Daniels, has publicly clapped back at her co-wife, Laila Charani, after the Moroccan-born model accused her of child abuse and other immoral acts.
Taking to her Instagram page on Friday, Regina fired multiple shots, accusing Laila of hypocrisy and warning their husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, to protect her children.
In a lengthy post, the actress addressed Laila’s recent claims that she was unsafe to be around children.
“First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say,” Regina wrote. “I’m such a mother to many children that it’s quite tiring. Also, saying I sleep with every single girl? Truthfully, sleeping with the same gender isn’t a thing I consider shameful, but how is the other woman so certain? Is she so certain because I slept with her, too?”
Regina further alleged that Laila’s son had been involved in disturbing behaviour that she chose not to expose for the sake of peace.
“I hope she also knows that if not for polygamy disadvantages, her son and mine can’t be together because of all the atrocities we have caught him doing that I will never mention! But my son loves him, so what can I do? Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is the ultimate, and do not use them to weaken me!” she added.
The fresh war of words began after Laila Charani accused Regina Daniels of introducing her to drugs and influencing their household staff and family members negatively. Laila alleged that she “almost lost her marriage” before Ned Nwoko intervened.
Regina, in turn, claimed that Laila had spread lies to Ned about her allegedly molesting their daughters, allegations she described as both “evil and senseless.”
As of the time of this report, Laila Charani and Ned Nwoko have yet to respond to Regina’s latest statements, but the drama has set social media buzzing, with fans taking sides and reigniting conversations about the challenges of polygamy.
