Nollywood star Regina Daniels has once again poured out her heart amid the ongoing crisis in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, opening up about her struggles with sadness, heartbreak, and emotional exhaustion.
In a deeply emotional post on her Instagram story, the actress reflected on the irony of life, describing how she now sits in the same seat she once used to lift others up from.
“Life is actually funny. It’s very funny I’m sad or heartbroken. I’m now seated at the very chair I tried to raise people up from. I hate sad people”, she wrote.
Daniels, known for her cheerful personality, said she has always believed that it’s better to die than to live in sadness, though she quickly clarified that death isn’t an option, just an easy one.
“I always believe it’s better to die than to be sad and death is not an option but it’s very easy, trust me. I’m an advocate for happiness in the tiniest things such as food lol. Sadness is spiritually and physically draining. Life equals living. Just live”, she added.
The actress also described herself as her “biggest motivation,” admitting that sometimes she breaks down but always finds the strength to rise again.
“Funny part? I’m my biggest motivation. I cry, look myself in the mirror and then wipe them! When I reason responsibilities and demons to deaf, I’m not mad to shut the fuck up!”
Regina’s emotional confession comes shortly after her series of online exchanges with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who recently released a public statement addressing their marital crisis.
In her response, Regina accused Ned of hypocrisy, alleging that while he now claims she needs rehabilitation, he once encouraged her drug use because it made her appear “sexier, wild and romantic.”
She further accused him of repeatedly forcing himself on her, seizing her phones, locking her up, and labeling her “mentally unstable” whenever she expressed her desire to end the relationship.
