Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has fired back at online trolls who accused her of being on drugs and acting arrogantly in her recent video.
The actress, who has been in the headlines over her ongoing marital issues with Senator Ned Nwoko, took to her comment section to respond to harsh remarks about her appearance and tone in the video.
A user @mr.ositatobias had commented that the rumors about her alleged drug use appeared to be true, saying,
“It’s true you are taking drugs, look at the way you are talking.”
Regina wasted no time in replying,
“Na that one concern your papa.”
Another critic @youcravethis accused her of insulting Nigerians and exhibiting arrogance in the video, writing,
“You people don’t even see how she insulted you in this video. The arrogance and ‘I’m better than you’ attitude.”
Regina responded sharply, making light of the comment,
“Arrogance? I never reach there, but I hope to actually be an arrogant guy.”
Her replies have since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from fans—some defending her composure amid public pressure, while others criticized her choice of words.
Earlier reports revealed that Regina had shared a new video addressing her marital crisis with her husband, Ned Nwoko, declaring that she was ready for “power for power, aura for aura.” She stated that she had no regrets about her marriage, describing it as a journey she was destined to take but “not her final destination.”
In contrast, Ned Nwoko, in a public statement, alleged that Regina was battling drug and alcohol abuse, claiming that his attempts to help her seek professional treatment were resisted. He also accused her of violent behavior, alleging that she assaulted domestic staff and destroyed property.
However, Regina’s elder brother, Sweezzy, dismissed Ned’s claims, insisting that there is no perfect couple, while their younger sister, Destiny Daniels, shared photos showing injuries she claimed Regina sustained from Ned, denying any talk of reconciliation between them.
The drama continues to unfold online, with fans and industry figures taking sides in what has become one of Nollywood’s most talked-about celebrity controversies of the year.
