Former Big Brother Naija housemate Adekunle Olopade has taken to social media to recount what he describes as a traumatic experience with operatives of the Nigerian Police Force.
The reality TV star, best known for his time on the Level Up season, claimed he was harassed, handcuffed, and held hostage for eight hours in what he called a “near-death experience.”
Taking to his Snapchat page, Adekunle shared details of the frightening ordeal, expressing gratitude for narrowly escaping harm.
“What a night! Kidnapped, harassed, and handcuffed by the Nigerian Police Force in the last 8 hours,” he wrote. “This story could have ended differently, and no one would have known. But glory be to God, I’m alive today.”
The entertainer, who has built a strong post-show following for his wit and charm, did not reveal the reason behind the alleged confrontation or the location of the incident.
As of press time, the Nigerian Police Force has yet to issue an official response to Adekunle’s claims.
The reality star’s revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with fans expressing concern and demanding accountability from the authorities.
