Nollywood actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia has stirred social media with a fiery post aimed at men who use intimidation or “oppression” to force their wives back into marriage.
Her comments come just hours after reports surfaced online alleging that Senator Ned Nwoko threatened and forced his actress wife, Regina Daniels, to return to their home and to rehab, a story that has since dominated headlines.
In a post shared via her Instagram story, the outspoken actress didn’t hold back as she criticized men who use coercion in relationships, questioning their moral compass and peace of mind.
“Some men are very foolish!! After using oppression to forcefully bring your wife back to the house, will you be comfortable sleeping in that house and eating that same woman’s food?” she wrote. “Marriage should not be by force. No means No and that should apply to other things being gRape!”
Her post immediately sparked intense reactions online, with many netizens interpreting it as a subtle dig at Senator Ned Nwoko amid his ongoing controversy with Regina Daniels.
While some fans applauded Etinosa for speaking out against abuse and coercion, others accused her of meddling in matters beyond her concern.
