Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has once again set social media abuzz after teasing a glimpse of her new relationship and fiercely clapping back at fans who questioned her love life.
The actress, who is gearing up for the release of a new movie, shared a cozy photo with an unidentified man, revealing only his back view. In her caption, she wrote that every time she looks into his eyes, “all I see is love.”
Nkechi went on to appreciate her mystery man for coming into her life and “making everything beautiful.”
However, what began as a romantic reveal quickly turned into an online clash after fans flooded her comment section with criticism over her past relationships.
One user, @karynn518, suggested that the man might be her ex, Xxssive, writing, “I’m sure it is Xxssive. Bros, I greet o.”
In a sharp response, Nkechi fired back:
“That handle is blocked since. Dunno why you are tagging someone’s boyfriend on my page.”
Another fan questioned her frequent relationship posts, asking, “How many relationships have you entered for only one year, this woman?”
Unbothered, the actress replied,
“200, any problem?”
When another user accused her of “making guys popular,” Nkechi shot back,
“Wetin concern you?”
And to one critic who asked how many men she had posted, she responded bluntly,
“You can’t be the one on your profile picture and type like a dumb skull, common now.”
The outspoken actress has never shied away from addressing public criticism. Back in March, she confirmed her breakup with her ex, Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as Xxssive, explaining that there was “no bad blood” between them.
Nkechi began dating Xxssive in 2021 after her split from politician Opeyemi Falegan. Since then, she has been vocal about her views on relationships and self-sufficiency.
In a recent podcast episode, the actress revealed she has “never dated anyone more financially stable” than herself, saying she has “dated down three times” and would not repeat the mistake.
