Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has strongly denied allegations of harassment and cyberstalking made against him by an unidentified woman, describing them as “false, malicious, and part of a sustained campaign of intimidation within the music industry.”
The woman, through her lawyer Taiwo Akinsulie, accused the rapper of emotional abuse, bullying, and invasion of privacy. She further alleged that Blaqbonez unlawfully circulated her private indecent videos after she rejected his romantic advances.
However, in a lengthy statement shared via his social media pages, the rapper firmly dismissed the accusations, saying they stem from a past personal relationship that ended peacefully but is now being manipulated by others to tarnish his reputation.
“Over the past few days, several false and deeply distressing allegations have been circulated online about me. These claims are not only untrue; they are part of a sustained pattern of harassment and intimidation that I have endured for months from certain individuals within the music industry”, Blaqbonez wrote.
He went on to reveal that he had silently endured “bullying, physical assaults, and online attacks” for nearly a year, believing the truth would eventually speak for itself.
“For nearly a year, I have stayed silent and endured repeated bullying, physical assaults, and online attacks. There comes a point when silence allows falsehoods to spread unchecked. So I am speaking now: I have done nothing wrong.”
Blaqbonez said what began as a personal matter between two adults has been “twisted and used as ammunition” in a larger feud among industry figures.
“That private chapter has now become entangled with professional rivalries. What began as a personal matter has been pulled into a broader feud, reshaped, and used as a campaign to discredit me publicly”, he said.
As the story continues to gain traction online, the rapper has vowed to take legal action to protect his name and ensure accountability.
“The accusations being pushed are deliberate fabrications designed to damage my name, my work, and everything I’ve built. I’m cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure that the truth is established once and for all. I have nothing to hide and I welcome transparency”, he assured.
Blaqbonez also disclosed that his legal team has begun proceedings against those responsible for spreading defamatory statements.
He ended his statement by reaffirming his commitment to his fans, his art, and to truth:
“I’ve worked hard to represent honesty and self-belief in my art. The truth will come out, and when it does, I hope this moment reminds everyone that false accusations destroy real lives, and that bullying, whether physical, digital, or psychological, must never be tolerated. I won’t allow personal grudges or online hostility to define who I am or distract me from my purpose. The truth is not afraid of light, and that’s where I stand.”
