Nigerian music star and Abia State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, popularly known as J. Martins, has narrowly escaped death after his car plunged into a bush along the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway on Monday.
According to eyewitness reports, the accident occurred after the singer’s vehicle suffered a brake failure while in motion, forcing it off the road and into the thick bush.
Speaking on the terrifying incident, J. Martins described it as a “terrible experience,” expressing gratitude to God for sparing his life.
“It was a terrible experience, but I thank God for His protection. Despite the impact, I came out of the vehicle without any injury”, the singer said.
The musician, who is widely respected for his hit songs such as Good or Bad, Oyoyo, and Jupa, said the experience has reminded him of the fragility of life and the importance of gratitude.
“I’m deeply thankful to God for another chance at life. It could have been worse”, Martins added.
Fans and well-wishers have flooded social media with prayers and messages of relief, thanking God for saving the singer’s life.
