Nigerian politician and businessman, Senator Ned Nwoko, has finally spoken about his ongoing marital issues with Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday night, the host asked him if things were calm and under control at home. In his words, Ned replied:
“We are trying to manage the situation.”
His short response comes after weeks of drama surrounding his marriage. Recall that Regina was seen in a viral video looking emotional while her brother confronted some men allegedly sent by Nwoko.
Following that, the senator released a statement claiming that Regina was battling “drugs and alcohol issues,” and said his efforts to get her professional help were always rejected. He also accused her of being violent toward domestic staff and damaging property.
However, Regina’s family members, including her brothers Sammy West and Sweezzy, have defended her, accusing Nwoko of abuse and calling for justice.
