Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has sent a strong message to single ladies, urging them to focus on self-development and personal growth before dreaming of marrying a rich man.
The actor gave the advice while reacting to the online buzz surrounding his role as Odogwu, a caring billionaire lover, in the movie Love In Every World 2.
So far, many fans have flooded social media, declaring Odogwu their “ideal man” and praising his affectionate nature.
But Arukwe was quick to remind fans that Chioma, the lover of Odogwu played by reality star Bambam, was already a hardworking and valuable woman before the billionaire character came into her life.
He noted that Odogwu never needed to question Chioma’s worth because she had already proven herself to be industrious and self-sufficient.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Arukwe wrote:
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
The post has since sparked discussions among fans, with many agreeing that self-worth and hard work attract the right kind of partner.
