In the viral clip from the Elevate Africa Conference, the Unavailable hitmaker opened up about how far his music has taken him and his family. He said beyond his father’s business empire, his success as an artist has opened doors that money couldn’t.
“Apart from my daddy’s business accomplishments, I know how many places my music has helped my family enter,” Davido said proudly. “I have 14 presidents’ numbers on my phone. I can call them directly.”
The old video began trending again just hours after Davido shared photos of himself, his sister Sharon Adeleke, Cubana Chief Priest, and Asa Asika with President Macron. He revealed they met on Thursday, October 23, to discuss their vision for a better world, though he didn’t share full details of the meeting.
