Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, have reportedly reconciled following days of social media uproar over their alleged marital crisis.
Recall that Regina had earlier cried out about alleged domestic violence in her marriage. In a viral video, the actress was seen in the midst of men while her brother, Sammy West, defended her against thugs her husband allegedly sent to her.
In response, Ned Nwoko issued a statement attributing their misunderstanding to what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” He further alleged that she had assaulted three domestic staff and destroyed property in their home, a claim that sparked mixed reactions online.
However, new reports suggest that the couple have now settled their rift and are back together.
Instagram blogger Cutie Julls claimed that the reconciliation was made possible through the intervention of Regina’s brother-in-law. Similarly, media personality Toby Blush revealed via her page that Regina has “moved back home” and advised the public not to meddle in married couples’ affairs.
“Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko have allegedly settled their rift and she has now moved back home. Dem no dey put mouth for husband and wife matter”, she wrote.
Following the news, social media users had plenty to say about the development.
One fan, @fumzyjem, wrote, “I noticed it in her brother’s write-up. He wrote that every marriage has problems.” Another, @eckovista, joked, “Ned go stop dey give the brother giveaway now.”
@ms_dera1 added, “Who she wan leave am for?” @nohpheesat commented, “Online in-laws were more concerned than the actual couple. You were all crying more than the bereaved.”
While @blessed_zak_ reminded everyone, “Na every quarrel una dey expect couple to divorce? Make una rest.” And @shoesbyohdera said, “My own na make she enjoy the lifestyle in peace, enough of coming to prove a point here.”
Just a week before the controversy, Regina had proudly flaunted the diamond ring Ned replaced after she misplaced the old one.
On her birthday, the senator had praised his wife as a “creative soul and a loving mother” who balances motherhood and artistry with grace.
In August, Regina shared a video of Ned playfully complaining about her poor sleep habits to her mother, Rita Daniels. The actress, visibly embarrassed, knelt to apologize and promised to make amends.
Despite the waves of criticism over their age difference, Regina has often expressed contentment in her marriage.
Last year, when trolls urged her to leave Ned, she clapped back, sharing screenshots of his caring messages and vowing, “I will die here.”
It seems, once again, that love and loyalty have triumphed over the storm.
