A magistrate court in Abuja has fixed November 26, 2025, for the commencement of trial in an alleged assault case filed against Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck by singer Levi Ogbogiri, popularly known as Kraziecent.
Kraziecent accused Odumodublvck of physically assaulting and battering him during a public event on December 16, 2024, claiming that the rapper attacked him without any provocation while he was “peacefully taking videos and pictures” of himself.
In the suit, the singer alleged that Odumodublvck damaged his iPhone 15 Pro Max during the incident and caused him “reputational harm and public humiliation.”
During Thursday’s proceedings, Justice Adeyemi Ajayi adjourned the case till November 26, after Kraziecent’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, informed the court that the defendant’s legal team had yet to file a response despite being served.
“The hearing may not commence because Sheriff Bello, the defendant’s counsel, has not responded. We, however, pray the court for a date,” Ojembe said.
In response, Odumodublvck’s lawyer, Sheriff Bello, requested an adjournment to enable him “prepare adequately and put his house in order.”
The court subsequently granted the adjournment and fixed a new date for proper hearing.
The case has drawn attention on social media, with fans of both artists debating the incident and expressing mixed opinions over the rapper’s alleged conduct.
