Big Brother Naija star and entrepreneur Tacha Akide has set a new Guinness World Record after completing 100 makeovers in 10 hours during her ongoing Tacha Beauty Festival in Lagos.
The event, which kicked off at 8:00 PM on Friday at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History, drew massive support from fans and celebrities, including Osas Ighodaro, Liquorose, Chichi, Ike, and Cross, who came to cheer her on.
Tacha’s record-breaking attempt surpassed the previous record of 64 makeovers in 8 hours, setting a new global standard in the beauty and fashion space.
Despite power outages and the demanding pace of the challenge, the reality star and her team pressed on, determined to complete the marathon makeover session.
Over 150 models were expected to participate throughout the event as part of her three-day festival, running from October 10 to 12.
Fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages and admiration for her resilience.
