Teju Babyface Sparks Outrage: “Don’t Tell Your Spouse If You Cheat”

Nigerian media personality Teju Babyface has set the internet on fire after a video of him advising men not to confess to their wives if they cheat went viral.

In the viral clip, Teju said:

“…especially men, if you cheat on your wife, don’t tell her, don’t confess.”

Explaining further, he claimed that confessing is not true honesty but a manipulative act meant to ease the guilt of the offender while shifting the burden to their partner.

“Confession is not honesty, it’s manipulation. You only say it to make yourself feel good or to make the other person carry the same burden of guilt”, he added.

The statement has since sparked heated conversations online.

One fan, @the_ngozi, argued that “anything I cannot tell my partner, I would rather not do”, stressing that she would never put herself in situations where the consequences outweigh the benefits.

Another, @divas__ecstacy_, fumed, asking why anyone should cheat in the first place, saying, “Just stay single.”

Others added their voices. While @edafe_henry010 questioned that Teju’s advice has nothing to do with Delta men “This advice no concern delta man sha.” @japhethwaziri_ countered that the best advice is simply, “Do not cheat at all.”

@ralph_newrevelation sad “Some things are better left unsaid just to keep peace in the home”, while @dimejiroland insisted that once you confess, “the relationship or marriage will never remain the same.”

The debate continues to trend, with some calling Teju’s advice harsh but realistic, while others dismiss it as encouraging dishonesty in marriages.
