The long-standing feud between rap heavyweights Nicki Minaj and Cardi B flared up once more this week after the pair clashed on X (formerly Twitter).
Nicki fired the first shot late Monday night, tweeting:
“Never provoke a writer while they’re…” while teasing her upcoming album set for release on March 27, 2026. She ended the tweet with, “Let the reindeer games begin.”
Her words quickly got into a fiery back-and-forth. In a string of since-deleted posts, the Pink Friday rapper mocked 32-year-old Cardi, even referencing the $4.99 promotional price of Cardi’s project Am I the Drama? on iTunes.
Nicki didn’t stop there. She went further by mocking Cardi’s chart-topping album success, calling the pregnant star “Barney Dangerous.”

This came despite Cardi’s project debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and achieving double platinum status in its first week.
The feud escalated when Nicki poked fun at Cardi’s track Magnet, quoting its lyrics with a biting twist: “A-B-C-D-E-F-G / these bitches can’t fuk with me.”
In another tweet, she went all out, writing:
“Abcdefgeeeeeeeee, SURGER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEE / tell the rat & tell J ZEEEEE / Rico Fraud & PERJURY.”

The fiery exchange has once again split fans online, with both camps passionately defending their favourites.
