“He Ripped Me Off” – Mr Real Accuses D’banj

Nigerian singer Mr Real has accused music star D’banj of exploiting him during their two-year working relationship, alleging that he only received $500 in total despite his efforts and contributions.

“D’banj ripped me, no be say allegedly, he did,” Mr Real said bluntly. “You can’t be with a man for two years and the only thing you gain from this person is $500. What kind of wickedness and selfishness is that?”

He further criticized D’banj for failing to support his career or connect him to industry opportunities despite parading him as an ambassador for the Cream Platform.

“Giving money is different, let’s leave money. Are you telling me Banga no get connect to even put me on some of the things?” he asked.

Recalling some painful memories, Mr Real alleged that while D’banj flaunted luxury cars, he himself struggled with basic needs.

The singer, who rose to fame with Legbegbe, expressed deep disappointment at what he described as wasted years. He added that only his late mother could grant him the strength to forgive the veteran entertainer.
