Nigerian singer Joeboy has shared a hilarious conversation with his mother, who is now pressing him to take his success beyond music and into marriage.
The Body & Soul crooner posted the exchange via his Instagram story with the caption: “Your momsy doesn’t care you’re a superstar😂.”
In a voice note, his mother told him bluntly:
“You’ve blown, no doubt about that, but when will you now blow into marriage?”
She went on to reference other superstars in the industry like Davido and Adekunle Gold who are already married.
She added that she has even told her friends that her son will soon walk down the aisle. Joeboy’s only reply to the voice note was short and playful: “Ha mumsy😂.”
