Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has vowed to rise in defense of her colleague and close friend, Iyabo Ojo, following months of relentless bullying directed at the actress and her family.
Taking to Instagram, Abraham declared that she had silently endured watching Iyabo get attacked, hoping the bullies would eventually stop, but since they didn’t, she was now ready to act.
Sharing a heartfelt note, she wrote:
“Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react — and I pray the world won’t call it ‘overreacting.’ Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it. Not just as a mother, but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go.”
Iyabo Ojo, in response, urged her friend to remain calm, commenting under the post:
“Baby, hold your peace. I love you.”
Their exchange further highlighted the enviable bond between the two Nollywood stars.

Earlier this month, Iyabo had celebrated Toyin’s 45th birthday, describing her as a “solid rock and a sister” while thanking her for the love, joy, and unwavering support she brings.
The duo have a history of supporting each other both publicly and privately. At Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, Toyin played the role of the Oversabi aunty, earning admiration from many.
Likewise, Toyin had praised Iyabo for her resilience, acknowledging her struggles and for raising her children with the fear of God.
Their sisterhood, rooted in loyalty and admiration, continues to shine through despite the storms around them.
