Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has finally addressed the ongoing feud with her colleague Lizzy Anjorin, revealing how the constant attacks on her family, especially her grandson, have tested her patience.
In a heartfelt statement shared on her Instagram page, the mother of two admitted that while she often struggles to stay quiet, she has chosen silence as strength, focusing instead on family and her grandson.
“Honestly, most of the time, I struggle to hold my peace… but I have to ignore the distractions. Who God has blessed, no one can curse”, Iyabo wrote.
She assured her fans that her legal team is not sleeping, emphasizing that every word and action from Lizzy is being documented for the right time.
“For clarity, I want to assure you all that my legal team isn’t sleeping. They’re taking notes of everything. A wise one must always listen to the counsel of the learned team. Everything has its timing”, she stated.
Iyabo explained that the past few months have been about family and supporting her daughter through motherhood. “Welcoming my grandson, supporting my daughter through her motherhood journey, and standing in the gap, both physically and spiritually, required my undivided attention”, she added.
She hinted that once she returns to Lagos, it would be time to take action. “Note that once I land in Lagos, God willing, yes, it will be time to tackle challenges. Silence can be powerful, and while it’s not always easy for me, I know it’s sometimes necessary”.

The long-running feud between Iyabo and Lizzy Anjorin has been one of Nollywood’s most publicized rivalries.
From accusations of harassment, defamation, and even court cases, both actresses have traded words and legal threats over the years.
Back in July, Lizzy marked her wedding anniversary by accusing Iyabo of making her marriage “unbearable”, claiming the actress went as far as forging documents to ruin her reputation.
Earlier, Iyabo’s ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against Lizzy was struck out by a Lagos court, prompting Lizzy to taunt her colleague online.
Despite the drama, Iyabo insists she will continue to put her family first. “I love you all and appreciate your genuine concerns. Keep being your wonderful selves, and I’ll keep you all updated when the time is right. God bless”, she concluded.
