Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has found himself in fresh controversy as a court reportedly ordered the freezing of all his personal and business accounts.

The ruling comes after the singer, popularly known as Vado, was directed to pay over €200,000 in damages for failing to honour a show.

This is despite allegedly receiving a $50,000 advance payment for the performance.

The news has sparked a wave of reactions from fans online.

@kenny__hassan added: “Next time he won’t do it again. I love Kizz paa I swear to God but letting your fans down it’s not really good at all and those preparations wasted.”

Another user, @cicidammy, reminded fans of his past troubles: “Na why dem lock am up for one country dat year 😂 he no gree learn.” @nuel5906 also added: “Vado sabi come late 😂.”

While Kizz Daniel is yet to officially respond to the court order, the development has once again placed him under the spotlight; with many urging the Afrobeats star to clear his name and avoid future disappointments.
