Adekunle Gold’s Outfit Drama: Frank Edoho vs Daniel Regha

TV host Frank Edoho has fired back at popular influencer Daniel Regha after he criticized singer Adekunle Gold’s outfit at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Daniel Regha had earlier called out Adekunle Gold for not showcasing Nigerian or African heritage at the global football event. He wrote on X:

“Adekunle Gold could’ve use the Ballon d’Or ceremony to promote the Nigerian or African heritage by wearing a cultural inspired outfit, even if it’s a suit made with native fabrics. Our public figures need to do better.”

But Frank Edoho wasn’t having it. In a viral clapback, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host referenced one of Regha’s past fashion choices, asking what culture he was showcasing at that time.

“When Daniel Regha wore this to an event, what was African Culture was he showcasing? You’re calling other people un-African, yet you came here looking like a lost Eskimo starring in a duvet advert from IKEA.”

The post quickly went viral, with fans laughing at Frank’s sharp response and tagging it the “clapback of the week”.

While Daniel Regha is yet to reply, the exchange has kept Adekunle Gold’s Ballon d’Or appearance trending.
