Singer Spyro has revealed how his Christian faith has cost him multi-million naira endorsement deals, yet remains unshaken in his stand for what he calls “the Jesus brand.”
In a heartfelt post, Spyro admitted that success brought with it some of his biggest temptations. He disclosed that he had to reject several lucrative offers because they clashed with his beliefs, describing them as “Antichrist.”
“The devil keeps throwing temptations at me but we stand in Christ”, he wrote.
Spyro further shared that because many brands avoid associating with his faith-based image, he often funds his own shows.
Despite the sacrifices, the hardest part, he says, is facing criticism—sometimes even from fellow Christians who he believes should be his support system.
Still, the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner insists he will not compromise, declaring: *“If not that I am sure that Jesus is real, I would have backed down.”
