I pull out even with protection-Blaqbonez
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, known for his unapologetic and candid approach to life, has shared his unique stance on intimacy and the precautions he takes in his relationships to avoid false paternity claims.
In a revealing interview on WithChude, the rapper, born Emeka Akumefule, opened up about how he navigates the sensitive issue of paternity. Blaqbonez, who rose to fame with his 2021 debut album Sex Over Love, explained his meticulous strategy of combining condoms with the withdrawal method, ensuring he’s always in control of the situation.
“No one can ever accuse me of something like that,” he said, emphasizing his commitment to protecting himself and his partners from any potential false accusations. “I pull out, even when I have protection.”
While Blaqbonez’s rise to stardom has been filled with success, the rapper has also expressed the struggles that come with being in the public eye. Despite his growing influence in the music industry, he admitted the pressures of constant scrutiny have made living a normal life a difficult feat.
“It feels like a crazy punishment,” Blaqbonez confessed. “Other people who have way more money have a much easier life than me. I have to be hiding.”
This candid reflection comes after the rapper’s meteoric rise, with his music consistently topping charts and earning him accolades, including being recognized by Rolling Stone in August 2023 as one of the 50 innovators shaping the future of rap.
Blaqbonez’s creativity also extends beyond music. In 2022, he stepped behind the camera to direct the video for his hit single ‘Back In Uni,’ collaborating with British-Ghanaian producer JAE5. His versatility as an artist continues to set him apart in the Nigerian music scene, earning him well-deserved recognition and admiration.
