Jaywon tackles Burna Boy over “paved way comment”

Singer Oluwajuwonlo Iledara, also known as Jaywon, has weighed in on the online feud between colleagues Eedris Abdulkareem and Burna Boy.

ER recalls that Burna Boy, in response to a podcast snippet comment made by Abdulkareem, stated that rather than blaming the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner, he would blame those who donated money to cover his hospital bills when he underwent a kidney transplant in 2022.

In a swift response, Abdulkareem berated Burna Boy for wishing him dead, describing it as “truly saddening and very disappointing.”

However, in a recent interview with comedian Teju Babyface, Jaywon, said that it is fooloish for the self acclaimed African Gaint, Burna Boy to claim that no one paved the way for him in the ,music industry.

He went on to ask how the Afro-fusion star would feel if 10 years from now some music star make same claim.

He also, described Abdulkareem as a “bully,” stressing that he has no right to call out Burna Boy.
