How people I thought had my back left me heartbroken – Deyemi Okanlawon
Deyemi Okanlawon, an actor-turned-filmmaker, has stated that some people he trusted left him heartbroken, but God came through for him.
The father of three said this in a post on his X account on Monday, while celebrating the success of his film All’s Fair in Love, which has grossed N27 million in theatres.
“So many ppl I thot had my back fell my hand, broke my heart but “what God cannot do does not exist”. For those who can’t afford it at this time pls get your free tickets to see #AllsFairInLove from allsfairinlovemovie.com. #roadto1Billion sponsored by family, friends, fans,” he wrote.
The film, produced by Deyemi, was released in cinema on February 14.
It features Deyemi, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udosen, Oprah Okereke and Timilehin Ojeola.
All’s Fair in Love is the actor’s first project since he announced that he will no longer work as an actor for other filmmakers because he wants to start producing his movies.
