Toyin Abraham’s Malaika becomes her highest-grossing film with N300m in cinema

Toyin Abraham, an actress and filmmaker, has said that her latest film, Malaika, is now her highest-grossing film in the theatre, with N300 million.

On Friday, the 41-year-old announced the wonderful news on Instagram, along with a thanks letter to her friends and followers.

“Thank you GOD and thank you to everyone who have seen Malaika,” she wrote.

This comes weeks after Toyin Abraham said she is aiming for N300m after announcing that Malaiak has made N284m in one month.

Malaika premiered at the cinema on December 22, 2023.

The film stars Toyin Abraham, Emeka Ike, Abike Shugaa, Muyiwa Ademola, Carter Efe, Ibrahim Chatta, Uzor Arukwe and Ruby Ojiakor.
