Why I made cryptic post about death – Ngozi Ezeonu

Actress Ngozi Ezeonu has explained why she posted a cryptic message regarding death.

Ngozi alarmed her 1.6 million Instagram followers on Saturday when she shared a snapshot of a burning candle with the caption:
“A rare gem is gone.”

The post caused panic amongst her followers and colleagues as some of them stormed the comment section to inquire about the reason for the post while others consoled her.

However, in a video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, the Glamour Girls star revealed that she made the post because she lost a dear friend.

The actress who went off social media after the cryptic post said she took a break from the platform to mourn her friend.

She wrote: “Hi everyone, happy new year. I am so sorry this thing is coming very late, well a lot of you saw my post on Instagram, I lost a dear friend and that is why I am wishing you a Happy New Year at this time but I’m sorry, it is well even in the well.”
