Rapper Kodak Black arrested for cocaine possession
Bill Kapri, better known as Kodak Black, an American rapper, has been arrested for cocaine possession, evidence tampering, and violating his existing probation.
The 26-year-old was arrested in South Florida on Thursday.
According to a police statement, the rapper was discovered asleep in a Bentley with drugs on him around 3 a.m. in Plantation.
Kodak Black was held in custody at Broward County jail; however, NBC Miami reported he bailed out of jail on Thursday night.
Recall in January 2021, former U.S. President Donald Trump commuted Black’s 46-month prison sentence for falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms on his last full day in office.
The rapper previously served seven months in a Florida prison on charges of marijuana possession, child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He has also been previously charged with weapons possession, armed robbery, sexual assault, probation violations, and fleeing from officers.
