Burna Boy surprises mum Bose Ogulu on stage to celebrate birthday

Bose Ogulu, mother of Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy, had a thrilling birthday celebration when her son surprised her during his performance on stage.

Bose posted a video of her son bringing her on stage in the middle of his performance, and a dumbfounded Mrs Ogulu, who also serves as the singer’s manager, could be seen blushing as the audience shouted her a birthday song.

In the video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, Burna Boy could be heard saying, “And now we have the most special woman on earth’s birthday as well, my mum’s birthday as well. This one I’m bringing her out, I’m definitely bringing her out.”

As Bose walked to the stage, Burna Boy embraced her and they both hugged each other as the backup singer sang a melodious birthday song for the celebrant.

“Feeling completely blessed! @burnaboygram surprised me on stage with the sweetest birthday serenade.
Unforgettable moment!” Bose captioned the video.

She also shared several photos from the surprise birthday on her Instagram account.

Another video of Bose celebrating her birthday with the entire crew was also posted on her Instagram account.

“Another year older, another adventure awaits with my amazing team! I love you all and wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to new memories,” the video was captioned.

Bose made a fashion statement over the weekend with her birthday outfit.

Mama Burna, as she is fondly called by her son’s fans, shared photos of her outfit on Instagram as she clocked a year on Sunday.

The outfit is a neon green-coloured two-piece top and bottom. The upper part of the outfit is a baggy top while the lower part is a pair of trousers with one part reaching her ankle and the other stopping only at her thigh.
