Why I do music – Singer, Bloody Civilian

Emoseh Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian, a Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, has stated that she is in the music industry to compete with her male counterparts.

The musician stated that she does not consider her female colleagues to be threats, emphasising that it was past time for female artists to replace their male counterparts at the top echelons of the Nigerian music industry.

The ‘Blood On The Dance Floor’ singer spoke with Album Talks recently.

She said, “I don’t see other female artists as threats. Actually, I’m here to occupy the spaces of the multiple male artists that you guys have put out this year. There are too many. It’s time to replace them with more women.”
