Comedian and actor AY Makun has responded to Seun Kuti’s statement about the actor portraying Seun’s daughter as a For me, children are completely off-limits. They are our most valuable resource. Seun in a recent Instagram live session said he mocked AY over the fire outbreak that razed his house in Lagos because the latter’s cracked jokes about his altercation with police and prison ordeal and even portrayed his daughter as a “dog.”

Justifying his action, the 40-year-old blasted AY, describing him as an “unfunny, dry goat with smelly mouth.”

He claimed that everyone in the entertainment industry knows that AY has mouth odour.

Reacting to Seun’s statement in a video via Instagram on Thursday, AY denied ever portraying the singer’s daughter as a dog.

“I am one human being who looked for a child for 13 years, I don’t think I’ll find myself in a position to mock another living being as a child and refer to that child as a dog,” he said.

Addressing the skit which led to the drama, AY said: “The skit was a reflection of trending issues, I talked about fuel subsidy which was trending at the time and if you recall at the time Hilda Baci and Eniola were both trending for eating dog, then I mentioned the name Hilda, that was what I was portraying in that video If anybody for any reason should have taken offence that person should be Hilda Baci. There is no way in this world I’ll refer to your son or daughter as a dog.”

Captioning the video, the 52-year-old wrote: “Amongst every good thing that has happened in my life and career in recent times, this year has also offered me to many as an unfortunate victim of unforeseen serial circumstances. The more I try to avoid the animosity and incessant attacks, the more I see myself as a programmed misery meal made from the recipe of some collective and very intentional chefs.

Before they say to you guys bon appétit’ with a smiling face and victory song, Can you all please bear the hunger for a few more minutes and ask real questions concerning all the ingredients that brought this meal to the table?
