Portable, Dammy Krane team up to record Davido diss track

Musician Portable has teamed up with his colleague Dammy Krane to record a diss track on award-winning singer Davido.

The duo posted a video of themselves at the studio via Instagram on Tuesday, recording the track aimed towards Davido who is currently at loggerheads with Dammy Krane.

Dammy Krane had in September 2022 publicly accused Davido of refusing to pay for his songwriting contribution to an earlier released track, even after reaching out to the DMW boss privately.

Dammy Krane in a series of posts on his official X on October 24, demanded to know why Davido does not want to fulfil his end of their contract.

While noting how difficult it is for the rich to pay debts, Dammy Krane pleaded with Davido to consider him for the sake of his daughter.

Responding to the call out, Davido said that he never charged Dammy Krane for food and rent when the latter stayed in his house in Atlanta.

He wrote: “I never got paid for that also my 3 verses I’ve gifted you all your dead career, oh yea plus my royalties, we charge now so that’s about $150 k x3 a verse.. also house rent and food when u stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless.”
