Chioma and I were shaking, Davido speaks first time publicly on set of twins
David Adeleke aka Davido, an award winning Nigerian singer, has spoken for the first time publicly about the birth of his set of twins by his wife Chioma Rowland.
ER reports that it was first rumoured on Friday that the ‘Timeless’ singer and his wife had welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, in the United States about a year after their son Ifeanyi drowned in Lagos.
Celebrities, including actress Iyabo Ojo, began congratulating the couple on the birth of the twins.
A video then emerged showing Chioma being wheeled out of a hospital with her twins and Davido smiling beside her.
Speaking at the United Masters Select Con event held on Saturday, Davido said he and his wife were shaking when they found out they were expecting twins.
“When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October,” he said.
Davido also said the death of his son would have made anyone lose faith in God.
