Brains and beauty, Otedola proud as daughter DJ Cuppy addresses UNGA

Businessman Femi Otedola on Wednesday shared a video on Instagram of his daughter Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, addressing students at the United Nations (UN).

Cuppy introduced herself as an international DJ, philanthropist and student.

She said she had achieved a lot at just 30 years of age. She listed some of her achievements as being on ‘Forbes 30 Under 30’ twice and having three university degrees.

Cuppy added that the “coolest thing” she had done in life was addressing the UN.

She said education had opened doors for her and recounted her experience during a visit to Maiduguri, Borno State where she met a young girl who told her she wanted to be a boy so she could have access to education.

The disc jockey called on the UN to support Nigerian girls in having access to education.

Reacting to his daughter’s speech, Otedola wrote, “Brains and beauty. I’m so proud of my angel ???????? @cuppymusic addressing the @unitednations.”

Cuppy thanked her father in the comment section with the words, “Thanks papa”.
