DJ Kaywise opens up on cryptic post

Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, popularly known as DJ Kaywise, a Nigerian disc jockey, has finally opened up about his recent cryptic post that worried his fans.

Recall that on September 13, 2023, the record producer posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page indicating that he was going to “end it all.”

His post sparked concern, with fans advising him against suicide in the comments section. Others urged his family and friends to visit him.

However, DJ Kaywise explained in a video message posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday night that his earlier post was not suicidal, as worried fans had assumed.

He said he wanted to clear the air on some malicious allegations leveled against him by a blog called “Gistlover.”

He captioned the video; “I hope this ends it all.

“The general public misrepresentation of my recent post as a sign of suicidal thoughts highlights the urgency of addressing these issues.

“It’s crucial for the public to dissociate my name from the misconceptions initially perpetuated by a malicious blog called Gistlover, and I am glad I can rectify the false impressions that have been spreading over the years.”
