What DJ Cuppy said on first meeting with Asake

Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, a popular Nigerian disc jockey, has expressed her desire to become Asake’s full-time backup singer.

On Tuesday, DJ Cuppy revealed her conversation with Asake after meeting him for the first time.

Cuppy expressed her strong desire to join Asake’s music adventure as his main backup singer in a post on her official X, sharing a video of them together.

“Hadn’t met @AsakeMusik in real life until this surprise. I was finally able to discuss my deep desire and career development of becoming his full-time backup singer. #CuppyOnAMission #MrsMoney,” she wrote.

This is coming three weeks after Asake shut down the 20, 000 capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

Asake joins Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid on the list of Nigerian artistes that have sold out the O2 Arena.
